General Care Discussion :: Looking for some help for a rare, old turtle

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Post Posted: Tue Jun 18, 2013 8:19 pm   Looking for some help for a rare, old turtle

So my friend who has a store here in town had someone bring this guy in. Unfortunetly, he's pretty mean to the other turtles so he's been banished to a bucket. He's really beautiful and needs a good home. Sadly my friend might need to take him to the pound because he has no room for him, and they will put him down there. So if anyone wants him, please message me, he'll be free! (LA)

He ok'ed me putting this up.

Why give it to the pound, instead of someone in their native range to release?

I would love to help you out, too, but I live too far away. Are you sure that's a slider? To me, it looks almost like some kind of large musk turtle.
