I bought a sunsun he 302. How high does my tank have to be in order for this pump to work? I can only have my tank about 4 feet off the ground. Its not working. I have primed it. I spent all day messing with the hose's. Nothing helped.

Do you hear any noises? Feel anything pushed out of the output nozzle?

There's a little humming sound but that's about and no when it was all hooked up only time I felt any air or seen water coming out is when I was priming it

Is there a stop valve/lever on? Usually it's switched on during priming.

I had it opened that's the only way it'll be able to prime nothing would move if it was closed, I emailed the company which is chewy.com
They are sending me a new one. They think it was a defective pump. I'll be getting it Friday or Saturday . I hope this one works.
