Checked on my baby this morning and found this in her basking area. At first I thought she had gotten one of the river rocks loose, but it appears to be opened. Is this an egg? Is it normally this big? Should I expect to see more? Should I just throw the egg away? Is this why she was acting strange the past few weeks? She would climb up to her above tank basking area, then a few minutes later slide right back down. She’d repeat that dozens of times.
She also has been destructive lately, tearing off the background paper from the wall of her basking area.

Tinky is about 6 yrs old. She’s in her tank alone, so I know the egg isn’t fertilized. This is the first egg I have ever seen from her.

Yup, its an egg. You can just throw it away, and maybe do a water change. Restless behavior is a symptom of being gravid. She can have fertilized eggs at 6, not if she is kept alone. As for expecting more.... probably.
