My RES has lots of white markings on his shell. I don’t believe it is shell rot since it’s lines of white and it is not squishy and no pink areas. It almost seems like that’s just the color of its shell. He hasn’t always had this just in the last few years it’s covered his whole shell. Temps are right have the right light bulbs and he does bask. His scutes are also not shedding as a whole. They chip away in pieces which is also started in the last 3 years. Could it be his diet? He gets pellets and shrim.

Sounds like fungus. Posting a pic will help confirm it, though there are tons of shell fungus pics on the forum. Just look for posts that have either Litefoot or I acknowledge it.
