So I've recently upgraded my RES from a 40 gallon to 200 gallon (currently with only about 100 gallons of water in it though) and I'm looking to put more fish in with her. There's been a chinese algae eater in with her for 4-5 months which has survived and some tiger barbs which have managed to survive for the most part, so I feel comfortable with adding new fish, accept for Thiaminase, which is something I just learned about. Does anyone think this is a huge issue? I've really never seen it brought up when discussing what fish to add to a tank, so I'm under the impression it's not

It shouldn't be an issue unless your turtle is on a fish-heavy diet.

She's not, just eats the occasional fish. Thanks.

No problem... she'll be fine. The fish will give her more of a workout in that 200 gallon!
