After much thought I have decided I will donate 4 of my 5 turtles.

The plan was to originally have 2 (one for each of my kids). However one of my kids decided he didn't want his, and I impulse bought 2 more. then I adopted another one that a friend couldn't care for anymore.

I will only keep 1 and give away the other 4. Hopefully the people that receive them take good care of them. Not giving them away on the forum, just wanted to vent away.

I'm a bit sad, but it was irresponsible of me to buy those 2 extra ones plus receiving my friend's turtle. I should have just kept 1. Oh well.

Yeah, it sucks. I think at first most of us just think it's slightly more work for an additional turtle but it usually doesn't work out that way. I'm sure you'll find caring homes for them, good luck!
