Hello everyone
I just adopted 2 small musks with the entire setup. Uv lamp, bask lamp, filter, heater etc

I just noticed One of them has a white /grayish wooly patch on the neck
From what ive read it might be either skin shed or fungus, can you please advise?

Thank you

I'm not familiar with musks, but the neck is a common area that is attacked/bitten. White areas are usually fungus, and contagious to other turtles. Musks are infrequent baskers, how is their setup like?

Its a 20 liters (5 ish galons?) tank, 1 platform, uv lamp and bask lamp.
Water is at 77 f, water filter capable of 40liters
They se em to get along just nice, but i just noticed she already had the Mark When i got her.
The other musk is more active, this One basks more often

I would make sure to get to exact species ID, so you can then plan out the appropriate habitat. Hatchlings don't often fight, so it could have happened if the previous owner had him with other turtles BUT, I would think it is fungus from the picture. Separation might be a good idea until the fungus is treated and sorted out.

How long will this musk bask for? How long have you had them, do you know if this spot has gotten larger or changed colors?

Usually basks for 40-50 mins before going for a swim
The color never change, the size is always the same also

Is it sensitive to your turtle? Does it feel different compared the skin around it?

Have you started any treatment? I would think a basic thing to try is dry dock, clean the spot (w/something like betadine), and apply an antibiotic ointment (like neosporin).

Will try to dilute betadine and apply while dry docking
