General Care Discussion :: Growing tooth?

I was feeding my turtle today and I noticed she had a strange growth on her beak, I was able to poke at it a little just to confirm it wasn't food. Its rock hard and pretty stuck on there! Any ideas of what this could be?

Doesn't look like an overgrown beak, it just might be abnormal growth. See if your turtle will take some cuttlebone (w/the backing removed) and that might help keep it trimmed.
