Habitat - Indoor :: Internal Filter Useless?

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

I have an Fluval 4 Plus Internal Filter, that cannot last more than two days without clogging up and quitting. It usually spits water out like there's no tomorrow, but no it seems like there is no tomorrow for the filter. Just a little bit of water comes out of her. Why is this? Any advice on fixing this problem?

It's in a 120 gallon tank with two adult RES. Surprisingly, they get along perfectly fine. I think they were together all their life. But that's another story for another campfire. Help please? :D

I doubt any interal filter can keep up with 2 adult RES. For a 120G I'd suggest a FX5.

XP4 is on sale. Not as powerful as a FX5, but much cheaper (currently).

I agree with Steve. Dont even get me started about the cost of an FX5. They might also be discontinued! Now they have an FX6. You need a good canister filter. You could also buy a SunSun filter.
