I'm sorry if I am being blunt or rude, but have you even bothered to read any of the sticky posts? I'm sorry it is my greatest pet peave when new people post without reading the threads first. I suggest you read the stickies first, and then read the other threads, you will learn to know what you need to care for your turtle.

Ok, the water should be deeper not lower.. you can add plants and things for them to hold on to so they don't get tired. There are a lot of posts on dealing with baby RES.

Most questions people ask have been asked before, so if you do a search on your question, you'll usually find at least one if not more posts on the same topic.. :)

You may also want to go look at the Photo Gallery at some other people's setups and see how they have their tanks done. What size tank do you have, heater, filter, lights, basking area etc?

My tank has water 4-5 inches from the top (depending on which side the floor isn't level).
