Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

This is what our turtles are in, they upgraded from their starter tank all the way to a 70 Gallon, made the topper from a thick plastic tote, and only took one day for them to learn to use the new sunning area. Happy Turtles!

@Turd - You might need a 3rd party host if you can't resize it. Or email them me and I will post them for you.

@MackGoober - Looks good, do you have larger pics?

I made this today for my daughter's RES, Pig. The tank is a 75-gallon and Pig is about 5.5 inches. Sure hope she likes it. I welcome all suggestions or recommendations; I want to make sure it's safe.

Thanks!

Looks good. Are those zip ties holding it together? Does Pig like it so far?

Yes, those are zip ties and so far she hasn't used it by herself. I have been putting her in it every day and today she finally stayed under the lights for a solid 15-minutes. :D :D Hopefully she will venture up there on her own because she definitely looks like she needs to shed her scutes.

Finally got an ATBA from glasscages.com

Here's the new turtle condo.

I might throw some corkbark down so the platform isn't so slippery and I am not sure about a background yet.

What's the ramp made of? If it's smooth (glass or acrylic) you can you adhesive non-slip strips.

Hey Steve!

So the ramp is made of 1/2 inch acrylic and has some steps that are welded into place

Here it is from a different angle

But the actual basking platform is smooth and Frankin doesn't like to go to far onto it yet since he cannot get any traction.

(pardon the hard-water stains)

I actually am going to be recycling his old Cork bark basking area to place on to the flat area of the acrylic so that he has a textured place to grab onto and bask.

It got pretty water logged so I am putting it outside for a couple of days to dry out.

I will make sure and upload more pictures once I have made a few "improvements"
