I still need to make on for my 53 gallon. And you just gave me an idea on what to use for a ramp, that same thing you are using for your 55 gallon! THANKS!

Here's Sassamo basking, I need more plants. I gave the ones I got her too the guppies so the fry had hiding places lol

Here's the side view, don't mind the finger prints, 4 kids = 40 sticky fingers.
I also put the filter back after the pic, silly turt got under it and pushed it off the hanger.

WOW!!!! MINE IS SO BORING COMPARED TO THESE.JUST THE FLOATING DOCK,I'M DYING TO PUT IN PLEXIGLASS RAMP AND DO IT UP BUT ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND STUFF LIKE THAT IN IRELAND WHAT TYPE OF SHOPS WOULD YOU GET IT IN? I SUPPOSE YOUD NEED SPECIAL GLUE AS WELL/

Your UVB needs to be above the basking area instead of over the water.

The light over the water is just a regular flurescent(sp) light and the light that is over the basking area is a UVB/UVA light.

What bulb is it specifically? I'm not aware of any UVA/UVB bulbs unless it's an MVB bulb. Also, I wouldn't put the lettuce on the basking area like that, it will cause it to wilt faster and turtles can only eat in the water.
