I am getting a bigger one , and I was just wodering how did you guys fill it.

i hook a hose up to my laundry room sink and then put the end of it in the tank and let it fill :]
that way you can control the temperature of it so it isn't ice cold.

i just pull the hose from the frontyard all the way into the tank hahaha kind of a hastle.

some people use the python siphons.

I bring the hose in from the backyard.

I used my hose from the backyard and put the tank on the front porch. After I filled it up, I put it on an office chair and wheeled it into the room then put it on the stand.

My tank would smash the chair, smash itself, and flood the house if I tried that.

I pull the hose in from the backyard as well. I empty the tank using the filter output hose to pull water out and spray it out a window.

Well my tank isn't that big at the moment. I'm looking for a good price for a moderate to large size tank.

i use the python and it's awesome!!! works wonders for cleaning and refilling and doesn't make a mess. you just attach it to the faucet and follow the directions and you're good to go. they come in different sizes but the ones with the longer tubing are more expensive. definitely well worth it tho!

i use a python. whenever im just adding some water and dont want to deal with the hassle of getting it out i use the ole' bucket of water method

When I get my 55 gallon I'm going to stick a bucket under the bathtub faucet and stick my sump pump in it and stick the end of the hose in the tank. I can control the temperature. I already have all of that so it's free. And to empty it stick the sump pump in my tank and stick the hose out my window.

I also use the python attached to the kitchen sink. I, of course, bleach the sink and clean it very well after, but that is the closest spout that I have to use.

I would like to kiss the mind that invented that thing...

its an electric pump that you stick in water and and pumps the water out through an attached hose
