UVB question
Posted: Sun Oct 09, 2005 2:59 pmI recently bought a UVB light the other day but I was wondering how long to i keep it on each day? Also, when I turn the UVB light on do I also turn off the basking light? Thanks a lot!

You leave both lights on at the same time.. and turn them both off at the same time. Otherwise the turtle won't get the full benefits of both the UVB and the heat from the UVA (heat) light.
Posted: Tue Oct 11, 2005 12:40 pmI actually stagger the times a bit--more like the sun getting brighter as it rises and the "sky" getting darker as night approaches (just my preference).
