Hey that looks nice! Great idea with the crate, I wanted to do one, but I'm a horrible carpenter lol. I'll have to see if i can find something like that!

He is still not sure about it. Although he has started to go up the ramp by himself. I think in another week he will be ok.

If you are referring to where he crawls in, No, I drilled it out.
As for the one inside on the bottom, Yes, They were the original slots from the crete.

Your not nervous that your turtle will fall or jump off that ramp while going to the basking area?

EDIT: Silly question, if he did that'd be good for him, it's not a big jump... I love that set up by the way very nice.

Very nice! I'd cover the whole bottom with the stuff you have on the ramp. Fruit Loops may get a leg caught in between those slats...You should also stain and seal it with some poly. It will keep the wood from warping over time, and make it easier to clean. :)

I'd do something to cover those slats so that a leg doesn't get caught and injured. Otherwise it looks nice :)

Not to mention you should remove the gravel from the bottom of the tank, it could be eaten and lead to impaction.

and you might want to pick up a better filter before your next upgrade, if thats the one i think it is it dosent have much room at all for mechanical chemical or biological filtration.
