Living with a gecko?

is it safe for my turtle to live with my gecko?

No way. Geckos are land animals, turtles are aquatic. That's only one reason, but I think it's the most important. Do more research online about your turtle AND your gecko.

dang. i was hoping the answer would be yes. i was looking for an excuse to buy a gecko

My favourite excuse to buy a new pet is when I have to upgrade the turt's tank, I just tell my husband that since we have an empty tank, we either have to fill it or throw it away...hehe

Yeh I love that one too!! I have used a version of that many times. That would be why I have a zoo! :mrgreen:

If you do get a gecko remember to research them before you bring it home. I have had gecko's before and they require alot of work in maintaining the right temp. To hot and you burn them to cold and they die. They also are what I call "money pets". They require alot of money to get started. Like turtles they are a BIG responsibility and ALOT OF FUN!

i bet they're hard to find if they get out their enclosure. hehehe
