I'm possibly going to get a new tank In the next few days to house my RES, hes in a 10 gal right now at around 2 inches. I've recently found an tank in the want ads for $250 cdn for a 90 gallon tank, stand and I've not got too many details about the filter but in the description it reads "35 Gal custom bio-filter".

Hopefully I'll go look at this in the next day or so, but I figured I'd make a thread and see if other people thought this was worth it for the price.

I can't spead for the price, but am wondering if the 35-gallon custom biofilter means that it has the capacity to hold 35-gallons of biomedia.

I took a look at it and decided to grab it, it was pretty cheap compared to most of the tanks I've been seeing out there, The tank is in great condition, not a scratch on it.

The filter is actaully a custom built filter from a 35 gallon tank that sits under the tank it holds biomedia, charcol and whatever removes ammonia from the water then in another section of the tank is a sump that pumps the return back into the tank, at some point this was a 90 gal reef tank I believe.

Its comming tomorrow and I can't wait to get it set up, needs a good cleaning, lots of hard water stains, my turtle will be pretty happy moving up from a 10 gallon :D .

Sounds good. Post some pics of the end result if you can. :) (White vinegar should help with those hard water stains.)
