I want a new digital thermometer. I want it so that there are two probes, one for water and one for basking. can anyone recommend a good/cheap brand? ps. where should I put the probe for the basking spot?
From the homegrowers soul, straight to his lungs. That's the method that I myself find fun. Start from seed and then you'll see, just how fun homegrowing can be.

I've only see one-probe equipment, and that's actually been water heaters. Is it possible to get one thermometer that continually measures both? To get the temp of the basking area, I use a regular thermometer and lay it on the spot where my turtle lays (if you put a rock about the size of your turtle on the basking area and put the thermometer on top of that the reading would be slightly more accurate). I leave it there for several minutes and then check it for the temp.
