Hi!
There are actually quite a few member pics on this board. Just go to the We're Back - Introduce Yourselves Forum section. The thread or threads have pics or pictures in the name I believe.

Heres a pic of my tank, sorry it isnt too great. Basically, I have some PVC Scheduel 40 pipe set up to hold up a piece of flagstone I got at a local garden supply place. On the bottome, I have some Tiger Rocks and some larger river stones. I have also put in a few plants, as of now, Reyna is yet to eat them but she has been trying them out. She seems to really enjoy the one with large leaves, she always layes up on the leaf and breathes and stuff. Also, there is a small plateau in there on teh PVC as well that I put any food that sinks on for her so it doesnt get lost in the rocks, also, it is good for the cuttlebone when it sinks cause she seems to like to eat it off of that better than from the surface of the water.
PS... I stole the PVC idea from someone, sorry I dont remember who.

Your tiny turtle is so cute! If my turtle tried to sit on the leaf he would just sink to the bottom and break it off! LOL
All these pics make me want to get another turtle so I can have a tiny one too. But I love Mr. Turtle no matter how big he is!!

therizman1, your baby RES is so cute!!! i missed those days when my two baby RES are still young. anyway, how big is your baby RES? he/she looks really really tiny. both of my RES are almost 2" now, its fun to watch them grow; but i still consider them as babies no matter what. i loved them so much.

Reyna is about 1.3" so very small, but has a huge appetite and loves to chase the fish around the tank.
The main reason I set up the PVC like that is because that way I was able to make an under water ledge to put food and other stuff that sinks on it so that Reyna can easily find it and such. Worked out pretty well, cost me less than $10 for all the fittings and 2 8' pieces of PVC Schedule 40.

It is a 29L, and I keep it pretty full, the only reason I dont keep it fuller is I need to keep the heat lamp about 6" away from the basking area and I have nothing to clamp it onto so I need to leave it on top of the tank.
As a side note, I just got my 2nd RES, much smaller, maybe 1-1.2" and his name is Orion. Seems to enjoy basking much more than Reyna, and sleeps a lot more, but loves to swim occassionally and LOVES to eat.

Wow! Nice setup. I only have a 20 long but my 2 res are only 1 1/2 inches, actually a little less than that. Anyway cool setup!

Here is my set up for my big boys.
Wow, that came out pretty small. Anyways on the left side is
their basking platform and a bunch of fake plants to hide in.
On the far right side is the intake and out put hoses for the
filter and their heater. Pretty simple, i know. But it works
well for us!
