Heh.. Rangers. I'm not big fan of minor league baseball. Thanks for A-Rod, at least you guys set him free to a team where he could go win something.

Thanks. It's amazing how much tank space you get back with an ATBA.

I need one real bad. I attempted to make one by myself and it didnt go well at all. I wish I had a long tank instead of fat and tall. I am going to have my guys make one with plywood and plexiglas doors.

Having a bunch of tools definitely makes it easier. Post some pics when you build yours, we'd love to see.

My dad has every tool you would ever need next door but I dont think I should be allowed to play with the table saw. I will probably do a build thread just because I couldnt find many on a 150 gallon

Heh... I ended up in the hospital at the beginning of this thread due to my table saw. Needless to say, I'm healed up and I now own a new table saw.

i would be leery if you plan on using plywood for the floor of your ATBA. depending on the water level, from the evaporation, a lot of moisture could get into the plywood and get pretty nasty over a couple of years, although i could be wrong. i just don't like using plywood around areas where it could be exposed to a lot of moisture, i've never had any personal bad experience using plywood in high moisture areas, because i just avoid it, so it's a bit of an unwarranted bit of advice :)

Veipa.. dont cut your arm off! Thats why I am afraid of the table saw!

Brutal, I am having trouble thinking of how to build it and what to use. My tank is so fat..I wish I could just use a piece of tile but its way too big. I also need it to be light enough for me to lift by myself (I live alone). I want to make it into two pieces and to cover the whole top of the tank. Any ideas on what kind of materials should I use? Egg crate wasnt sturdy enough for that size and I wasnt crazy about how it looks
