Hello, I’m in the process of putting together a 75 gallon tank for our yellow belly turtle. I bought a cascade 1500 for the filtration. I was looking at your diagram for media set up. The first three trayshave course foam I was wondering why you though there shouldn’t be any floss in there? Oh btw I love the basking set up and I’ll be doing the same for ours.

Floss clogs up quickly, so some only use it when they expect a lot of small particles (like dust from sand).
