Plants

I knoe the red ear sliders like plants apparently to sleep on is there any style or look they they particullary like?

You can use fake plants that are tall or find some that are attached to a suction cup (or do it yourself) and place under the water level. I attached some fake plants to a suction cup for mine and he loves to sleep in them since they aren't too far under the water level. Just have a variety of places in his tank that he can get to and decide which are his favorite. :)

For "sleeping" purposes, it doesn't really matter which kind you use. I'm assuming you mean, fake, plastic, silk or real. Also it doesn't matter what they look like, all they want or need is something to cling too. Try to keep away from plants with too small of parts (unless they are real plants) because they can be taken apart and eaten by your turtle. Other than that you can basically use any aquarium plants.

I have to say that for fake plants, I prefer the plastic over the silk ones. Easier to clean. ;)
