Hey, I need help calculating the size of this tank. I looked at the calculator on the main page but I think this tank is bigger than 56 gallons. I also need help with what filter I need to buy.


The measurements are L 48", W 12.75", H 20.75"

Right now I have 2 RES, one is 8inches and the other is 2inches. And they're both in a 20 gallon tank (tisk, tisk)

That's a 55 gallon tank. Are you going to separate the turtles or keep them both in this tank? For 2 turtles I'd go with something closer to 100+ gallons.
I have my single 8" turtle in a 55g, sometimes I wish I would have went with something with a little more width like a 75G tank which is 18" wide.

I was planning on keeping them together. This tank was free so for now I guess it'll have to do. Especially if I have to spend $300+ on a filter and a new heater, plus build an atba *eeeek

That tank isn't going to hold anything if it's upside down

Lol its not upside down...it has a bar in the middle under the tank as well as on top

Were those taken from an iPhone? I sometimes get unexpected rotations when I try to upload from them.
