I have a 5 yo approx 6-in male RES. His current setup is made of a 55 gallon Rubbermaid storage container. He has long outgrown the popular floating docks and his basking area now consists of a piece of wire shelving. At first, he seemed to be satisfied with this, but lately I have noticed he is not basking as often as normal. I have been all over YouTube and sites similar to this one looking for ideas on how to build an atba. The problem I've encountered is that no one seems to have one set up for a Rubbermaid "tank" like mine. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly welcomed and appreciated. I have attached pics below for anyone who hasn't seen a setup similar to mine

Have you tried covering it with something like cork or the grass like stuff used for reptiles?

It doesn't look easy to climb. What you can do is put the ATBA to the side, it doesn't need to be directly over it. Use whatever that will support the weight of the turtle and go from there. It should be easier to make than most ATBAs.
