Has anyone used artificial grass\turf for traction on the floor of an above tank basking area?

Even thought about using it as a substrate. Not sure why for the substrate, just thought it would look cool.

Sure why not, I seen people using that for traction. Artificial grass definitely adds a great accent to the basking area.

Look for a specific kind, it's usually called reptile carpet.

Yes you can. I used indoor/outdoor carpet. That's bathtub tape on the ramp.
