Magnum 350 won't purge ?

I've had my magnum 350 since last may when I got my tank and never had a problem with it . Now all of the sudden it won't purge air .. and every time I let the air out of the hose and connect it back to the filter BAM there's more air in it . And it won't prime or anything and I have NOT the slightest idea why ! Any one have this issue who knows how to resolve it ? If not I'm out a filter and don't have money to buy one right now

Check the hose connections and any o-rings on the filter.

Have you tried disassembling everything, cleaning it and putting it all back together?

I think it might be my impeller .-. It's like a $12 piece

It's actually my impeller magnet that's the $15 part . The whole impeller is a $35 part .....

What do you think is wrong with the impeller? Do you prime it, then let it sit for a few minutes? This lets the excess air to rise.

No I fill it with aquarium water until most of the air is out . Then I lean it so all the airs in the two hoses and then fill it more . But there's still air . I get all the air out and when I turn the little knows to let the water flow back , BAM there's airr again .. it's like it's Comming out of nowhere and I don't understand /.\ I wanna get a cfs 500 just broke right now
me and my boyfriend are trying to save every penny to get a place . It's so difficult to do anything /.\

hmmm not sure what it can be but I think she may have a point just by the description she gave. About to go on a post the new albino sitting side by side in the mean time. Turtle girl, please keep us posted, I would love to see how this gets resolved for sure to increase all of our knowledge.

I got it to work but BARELY like omg it bothers me so much . Cause I did a water change made the hides siphon si that they were full of water and it stopped working. But a couple months ago I was in a hurry and didn't make sure the impeller was in right and it damaged the magnet . So I think that might be the issue , which a new one is $15 off amazon ..

You know, I just remembered one with this issue but it has been a few years ago. I bet you are right, it sounds very familiar .

Is the filter output creating a lot of bubbles? Does the 350 have any priming features?

No not that I know of. But I contacted Marineland and they said it abounds like an o ring problem . Which there is one broken on it. But it's been that way since I got it and I never had a problem /.\ hopefully I can get a replacement. They're only like $8 for the whole set on amazon ..
