Hello!
My turtle is 13 years old and she got injury yesterday. She broke her nail. The vet take care for the wound but since then my turtle is out of water. For almost 18 hours now. Im scared that if I send her back to the water, the wound will start bleeding again. She is very active and always searching for place to lay eggs and doesnt look dehydrated. What will you suggest to do?

You can put her in the water for a short time to eat, drink, and then return to dry docking. I think only a few days should be enough.

Are you sure she's looking for a place to lay eggs and not just begging?
