Need help!! About to just toss the entire thing

We have 3 turtles that are a year old. Originally they were in a 20 gallon tank but we have moved up to a 50gal.
When In the 20 we had a 50gal hang filter and never a water issue. Now with the 50 we have a Fluval 407 and we
Can’t keep the water clear. I’ll admit we made a mistake at first by placing the tank at the window. We have drained, cleaned, and relocated everything but we are cloudy in under 24hrs. What do we need to do? I put a picture to show we we are looking at.
