I have looked around and can't find the post / thread, but I thought I saw somewhere on here that someone had posted a parts list and basic diagram for building a PVC basking area.....It might have been Steve, but I can't remeber for sure......Can someone help me out with this?
Thanks

Use the search function and type in "building and a and pvc and basking and area". You'll come up with 3 posts---look at jenaero's.

I think it would be a great idea to "sticky" this post near the top of the Indoor Habitat forum...... Very good info here---

That's a very nice basking area
There was an earlier suggestion in making a sticky with different basking areas but no one sent in any pics...

Steve, did you use any "T"s across the top (under the tiles) ?

No Ts, but I am thinking of ways to lighten the load since I want to raise the area.

I was thinking (not to dispute a beautiful design) maybe 2 t sections going across to help support the tiles......What do you think?

I built mine this weekend......I used 3/4" PVC and built it by copying Steve's design.......The only difference is I used a "T" on the top bars to add stability....Sam is happy about it......(I think)....He's been basking a lot more than he used to !!
