I have been thinking about getting a ultrasonic fogger for my bigger set-up. And I have a few of questions...
Are they in anyway a risk to the turtles?
Are they at all beneficial to the habitat?
Will the "fog" brother the turtles in anyway?
How long do the ceramic disks last before I have to replace them?(exp. hours?)
Thanks in advance,
Nathan Radle.

I don't see the use of a fogger in a turtle tank. If you were going to use it in a set up for frogs or toads it would make more sense since there is little water in their "tanks". You would be better off saving the money for something else.

I'm not exactly sure of the purpose for this device, although, since flutterby mentioned frogs, I'm assuming mist...
That being thought, the only time your turtles would benefit from it is when they are basking. When they are basking they are supposed to be able to get fully dry. If you are going to keep them wet, you are going increase the risk of shell rot.

Those foggers are meant primarily for lizards to provide humidity where there is little water or no water. Lizards will drink the droplets from the mist. For frogs, it gives it more of a swampy feel, also providing humidity found in their natural habitat.
The fogger may look nice, but isn't necessary for the turtle.

I had one for my rainforest terrerium I paid a fortune for it and it worked for like 2 months and stopped(it was when they first came out...they may be better now)....I don't see any use for one in a turtle tank.

I don't know how much you paid for one, but I have found a few for $30.00. I just thought it would look cool on the opposite side of the basking area.(I didn't want the basking dock to be wet.)
