If it is not it could be algae from bacteria which can be harmful and should be wiped off as soon as it starts to build up.
Posted: Sun Oct 08, 2006 11:37 pmI scrubbed it off with a tooth brush and did a 50% water change. It is directly under the UVB, so I thik it is probably algae, but I have never seen any in my tank before.
