Yes there are three in there. i just put a baby in there 5 minutes ago ( sister is leaving for college and i need to take care of it till after christmas break) the water is a little foggy, so when i get the new filter ill do a patial water change and hook up the xp2. Thanks for your comments :)

how big is the baby? it would be best if u didnt put a baby RES in with larger turtles because he could get hurt or even killed

their all pretty small and close in size with the others although the new one is the smallest. Him and the other small on are close to the same size and the other 2 are a bit bigger. The new one was in another tank with 3 other turts but the tank was to small so iam fostering (i guess you could say that) the lil one for a bit.

I mentioned this in another topic... From that pic, your turtles have a potential escape route on the dock. They could stack up and get out...

You have hatchlings in there, right?

I'm new to this forum and I got some great advice regarding habitats. I have a 30 gallon glass aquarium for my turts......2 hatchlings and 1 young adult. I was told to get a 50+ gallon for them, so that they thrive. You may consider getting a bigger tank, too, since the babies will grow fast. I read in this website that captive RES have a faster growth rate than wild RES. This website/ forum is very helpful.

Enjoy!!

hey tard, you should do the pricematch at petsmart if possible. All you have to do is print out the websites price for the XP2, and you'll save money. If your going to upgrade tank sizes in the future may i suggest the XP3. It may seem a bit overkill now, but you can regulate the amout of spray that comes out of the bar. This will save you money in the future. Plus you can add bio media to it!
