I went through a riverbed which was about 5 inches thick of compacted rock, and then very very large roots. All while my fiance drank beer and watched...Thanks! LOL

It was just really compacted medium sized rocks... so I just kept hackin away! Doesn't sound quite as intense as your rock situation would be Vic!
lol... I was a sweaty girl by the end of the ordeal!
I will definitely post pics when I'm done

might try renting a jack hammer or something to break through it. My family lives in SA too, so I know what you mean about how bad the rock is.

yea we were thinking about renting a jack hammer....there's people in my neighborhood that have under ground pools....they had to get people to blow up the rock while they built there house.....smurf i live by fiesta Texas so if you've been there you know how rocky that area is

ugh yeah! That's really close to where my grandma lives. My parents also bought land in boerne in order to build house, but it's going to cost a crap ton to blast out enough rock to do it.
