i was thinking about building a small land part for a baby land turtle in their pond. would this be bad ?

I dont think its a good idea becuz wat if the land turt falls in the water? they don't swim very well and probably will die. Unless you make sure the turt will not fall in, like put a fence around the land.

yeah, if the land turtle fell into the pond, he'd sink like a stone. Build a different habitat for him.

Do not keep species of turtles that have vastly different living requirements together (i.e., a land turtle with an aquatic turtle).
