WANTED: Pond Blueprints

After I am done wth the 55 gallon tank, I plan to put the turtles outside in a pond enclosure. Would they be harmed of the drastic change from room temp to the 80's-90's that are commonly seen in Florida, not to mention the stickiness you feel that makes it feel even hotter? Which is partly because we live a block from the water and the humidity.

If it's safe, I need pond blueprints, including natural materials if it's possible. I saw some website that offered blueprints, but the thing was blocked (cursed parental controls :x ). Any help would be appreciated ahead of time.

There must be more than one site with information on making a pond...Have you checked out pond suppliers or other sites related to backyard ponds?

There is a huge pondscaping community. Just search for "DIY and ponds", however most people do not have turtles, so that will help narrow your search. There are also some general pond topics on the main section of this site. There is also a very large aquarium reef community, so those are good sites for learning to build glass or acrylic tanks.

I used steve's advice, and it really helped, thanks  . Somewhere I heard you could put a kiddie pool in the ground and have that act as a pond. I don't know about that. Sounds pretty cheap and unsafe. What do you guys think?

I think a kiddie pool would be too shallow for RES. A stock tank is pretty cheap.
