Ponds and other outdoor enclosures.

Hi, I have a 660 lt outdoor aquarium with four sliders and have an issue with Nitrates and algae build up. I have installed a Fluval FX6 which is doing a very good job and also a uv filter. The water us clear but with a tint of green and the nitrate ldvels ate quite high. As stated the aquarium is outside and gets alot of sunlight.
Any ideas please.

Looks great! Are you sure the green is not from the iron? The UV filter is probably doing it's best but don't forget you need to regularly change the bulb. I'd also try to eliminate nutrients that algae might use, so feeding outside the tank might be a consideration.

Maybe consider a stronger UV filter. Is it new? Bulbs need regular replacement.
