Hi all. This my first time posting on here, so please bear with me. I have a red eared slider & a diamondback terepin that I am getting ready to move outside for the summer. Their enclosure needs some shade & I was wondering if you all knew of a reliable list of toxic land plants. I thought I had read a while back that most herbs were ok. I absolutely hate marigolds, but love color in my gardens. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I'm going to continue to look around on here as well. Thanks in advance.

What about something artificial that would also provide as a protective netting? How big is the outdoor enclosure?

It's not huge. They have a 75 gallon pond. The land area is about 3 x 5.
