Ponds and other outdoor enclosures.

Hi all, I have 2 RES turtles that are very young. They are about 3". My vet recommended that I take them out for Sun a few hours a day. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use and how to keep them from getting too warm? I'm using a wide plastic storage tub right now but the temp can get hot fast so I have to use an umbrella to keep the temp down. I live in Southern California so the summer heat is no joke! Thank you, Caitlin

Hi Caitlin, taking them out is usually a great thing. What kind of yard do you have? Will you give them supervision when they're out?
