Hi everyone!
I just joined this cute community as I have 5 turtles; 2 hatching, 2 juveniles and a very young adult. I live in the high dessert here in cali. and know that for turtles UVB is a necessity and want to take my turtles outside. What is the best thing to put them in without stressing them all out? They all get along btw but I don't want any fighting or anyone stressed. I would provide a cover for them no doubt to keep predators away but really need ideas on what to place them in. Thanks everyone! :)

Welcome to the site! How hot does it get out there? Do you have your own yard?

Do you want to keep them outside 24/7? They sell huge stock tanks (8' diameter or about 625 gallons) that you can use above ground. Perhaps some bricks around it will help keep it cool.

Fighting might not be preventable, its just something that happens.

Hey Steve! so, i found a kiddie pool we have, I put the appropriate amount of water inside for them and a couple of rocks that they can climb onto, to bask. Unfortunatly one hatching turtle passed away from it being too hot outside. It passed out on the rock and never moved
