Adult sliders need home

Hi all,
I have two sliders in a tank that I've had for three years. I'm on overload trying to keep the tank clean, with algae and ammonia. My turtles need a new home! Any suggestions?

Bah, im a stupid head. the link steve gave you is good. Also google turtle rescue, thats should help. Sorry.

Hi Maryda,
I have been over whelmed by my large turtles many times, probably many other people become that way to. I would never put them in the pet shop or into a lake . A rescue group would be the best place for them.
I know I will have to do this some day if I just get very sick. I can't see myself carring for the turtle at 70 or 80 years old.
Please take the time and do what is best for the turtles.

Hi. Where are you and your turtles located? Maybe we can adopt them if you are not too far away from us, we are in NC. How big are they?
