How old/big is he?

I feed them to my turtles (both the boxies and the RES) because they are a good source of vegetable protein. However, feed them in moderation, because they are a bit high in oxalates. Oxalates bind to calcium and pull it out of the body, so on the day that you feed green beans, feed some cuttlebone also.

Ok, a turtle so small is still growing, so it is especially important to supplement with cuttlebone every time you feed green beans.
