Monster Frank is my (what I am guessing) 6 month old painted. I've been feeding he\she Zoo Med brand Hatchling pellets since he\she was about the size of a quarter with no issues. For about 2 weeks now he\she doesn't seem to like this food anymore, or is having troubles swallowing it. Basically will take a pellet in it's mouth, but then spit it back out. Shows interest in eating, but won't swallow the pellet when it his\her mouth. No other issues that I am aware of or am noticing. His\her shell is about 2 inches long, so I tried a non hatchling formula, but really doesn't like that. I put a couple feeder fish in there today, to see what happens. Tried red lettuce as well, but no interest in that either. Just wondering why he\she keeps spitting out the pellets that it has always ate.

I'd keep changing it up. Was he interested in lettuce before? Have you tried his usual treats? Also check the water temps...
