Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

So, Naruto and Hinata are getting bigger (FYI, those my two RES, not my kids, even though I treat them like ones). As of today they are approximately 2.5 inches (carapace) I still feed them ReptoMin, but I was wondering WHEN should I introduce cuttlebone?
Spring is coming soon (it's end of February here in NJ), so once they arrive, i'll be adding dandelions to their diet....
Thanks in advance for all responses!

It's not a necessity. A varied diet should provide enough calcium and rough material for the turtles to munch on (and trim their beaks.) You can try it out at anytime, just make sure you remove the backing.
