Hey all,
I am in the market for an automatic feeder. I am going out of town on vacation, it seems like lots of us are, and I have a sitter. I just want to get an automatic feeder to simplify my sitters duties. Sooo....

What brand/type of automatic feeder do you have and do you like it?

You might go to www.bigalsonline.com, click on "food" then "automatic timers" and check out what they have. There are several models, all of which I think will distribute pellets as well as flakes.

I had very good luck with this one. It has enough space that it will hold 2 weeks worth of pellets, and it has a big enough openning that it dispenses them without jamming.

I say sort the food out in a pill box. Less chance of mistakes!
