These are pics of my filter & the media that I am having so much trouble with. I don't know if a problem can be seen but any help is appreciated.

That's from the center of a magnum 350. It's not a very good turtle filter.

What problems are you having?

Is the carbon free floating in this filter. It looks like it is. I would put it in a media bag.But then again I don't know how this filter works. If that is where your supposed to put the loose carbon its not sealing it in for some reason and that's how its getting in your tank. Once again look into a sunsun filter.

It looks like the mesh is built into the filter. Not a bad idea, but using another media bag sounds like it would help.
