200 Gallon Aquarium Canister Filter UV 9w UV Sterilizer Fish Tank SUNSUN 525GPH is a UV beneficial with RES ?
were building a 100 gal rubbermaid habitat and i'm looking to use this filter if I can't get a used FX5.

Here is my experience with UV and canister filters. Sun Sun make poor canister Filters at best. Their combination units from my experience and some friends who have had them is worse. They do on the other hand make a decent stand alone UV unit. It is a Sun Sun CUP-613. As far as a good canister filter, I've had reasonable luck with a Penn Plax Cascade 1500. It is a massive filter with a three year warranty. I believe I paid around $119 free shipping and media included. I hope this helps.
