Hello all, I have a FX6 with the dials on the top and the lid doesn't go down/on all the way all of a sudden. What is wrong? Seems like the stationary tube in canister is too tall and stopping lid from going all the way down and sealing. Looked and looked and driving me crazy what is going on or happened?

I have FX5 as well. Possible the bottom tank portion got switched but they should be the same size i would think. The FX5 is on the 125 gallon tank right now. Hate to tear it out and check as a lot of work and it kills my back each time i clean the FX5 out.

Need some help. Anyone else have this problems and fixed?

Is there water in the filter as you are trying to close the lid?

Got this issue taken are of. Needed some extra push down since new set up. Didnt want to force at first to break anything. So good to go on this one now.
