How Much Purigen to Use

I wasn't sure where this post should go. I am going to try the Seachem Purigen filter in my Cascade 1000 canister. The filters are very small only about 2.5 inches wide and 5 inches long. One filter will handle a 100 gallon aquarium. Will one of these small filters be adequate? They leave a lot of room in the basket. I'm thinking two would do best. Any thoughts?

Did you get the prepackaged kind? Purigen is usually used with other media, so I would prioritize the mechanical/bio and carbon first.

I'm loving how my tank looks. I used 2 course mechanical filters in the bottom basket. Then a medium course filter in the middle basket with 2 Purigen filters on that and then bio rings. Top basket is all bio rings. The water looks great, the parameters are spot on, and no ammonia. I used 2 Purigen filters thinking since a turtle produces more waste than fish, an extra bag would be better. He seems really content.
