How long does everyone leave their UVA & UVB lights on? Does it matter if it's thru the day or the evening?

The more light the better but you can turn it off a night of course.

Thank you for the information. I was just worried about leaving lights on while I wasn't home. Do any of you use timers with them incase you are gone overnight?

I have my basking light on a timer and just remember to flip on and off the UVB light around the same time until I can get another timer for it also. It helps though...

Right now, I just turn it on when I go to work around 7:30 and turn it off around 10pm. I'm getting a timer from my friend this weekend and will just match the hours with the actual daylight hours.

Just as a side note, no real need to get two timers if you are going to have both on the same schedule, just get a little plug in splitter and plug that into the timer and then your uvb and heat lamp into that, save you some money on expensive timers.
