This hasn't really been a question, but it seems that it's something that has to be said to almost every new comer: "don't use gravel"

Why are my turtles fluttering/acting aggressively?

What does turtle poop look like?

How much and what can I feed my turtle? Consequences of not doing so.

Is this pyramiding? Why does it happen?

Tank size.

Temperatures for water and basking area.

Just a recommendation, but it might be a good thing to start compiling a list of turtle injuries/health issues that are commonly seen on the site and how to fix them.

Untsmurf, I'm cautious about listing that type of medical advice because there are really limited options in what we can do and I don't want people to use this place as a site for home treatments. Too many try to avoid the vet and if their parent's won't let them go to one, then they really shouldn't be caring for these animals to begin with. Well, the parents never should have bought them to begin with.

I know there are a few people who do not have access to herp vets, but there are still options. I do include links to other sites that do offer treatment advice but other than that I think it's enough.
